At Swadharma, we strive to deliver every service and product with care and authenticity. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the rules applicable to each of our services. By making a payment on our Platform, you agree to the terms below.
Refunds, where approved, are processed back to the original payment method through our payment gateway partner Razorpay within 5–7 business days. The time taken for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or card issuer.
1. Astrology Consultations
- Cancellations made before the consultation is confirmed/scheduled are eligible for a full refund.
- Once a consultation slot is confirmed, cancellations made at least 4 hours before the scheduled time are eligible for a refund (a nominal processing fee may apply).
- Once a consultation has started or been completed, it is non-refundable, as the service has been rendered.
- If an astrologer is unavailable or fails to connect, you may reschedule or claim a full refund.
2. Puja Bookings
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled puja date are eligible for a refund after deducting any procurement/samagri charges already incurred.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the puja are generally non-refundable, as preparations and arrangements begin in advance.
- Once a puja has been performed, it is non-refundable.
- If Swadharma is unable to perform the booked puja, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
3. Chadhava Orders
- Chadhava offerings may be cancelled for a refund before the offering is made at the temple.
- Once the chadhava has been offered on your behalf, it is non-refundable, as the religious offering is complete.
- If the offering cannot be made due to reasons on our side, a full refund will be processed.
4. Store Products
- Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before they are shipped/dispatched.
- Products may be returned within 7 days of delivery only if they are damaged, defective or incorrect. Please refer to our Shipping & Delivery Policy for the return process.
- Items must be unused, in original condition and packaging. Certain items (e.g., energised/personalised products, consumables and puja samagri) may be non-returnable for hygiene and religious reasons.
- Approved returns are refunded after the product is received and inspected.
5. Teerth Yatra Bookings
- Cancellations are subject to a tiered cancellation charge based on how far in advance you cancel:
- More than 30 days before departure — refund after deducting a nominal booking fee.
- 15–30 days before departure — partial refund (a percentage of the package cost).
- Less than 15 days before departure — limited or no refund, as travel, stay and darshan arrangements are confirmed in advance.
- Non-refundable third-party charges (such as transport, hotel or temple fees already paid) will be deducted from any refund.
- If a yatra is cancelled by Swadharma, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

7. Non-Refundable Situations
- Services already rendered or rituals already performed.
- Cancellations made after the applicable cut-off windows mentioned above.
- Convenience/processing fees and non-refundable third-party charges.
